No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome to worship with us in person or online. Worship is at the heart of our life together as a community. We gather to connect with God and to connect with one another. Your presence is what matters to us. This is one hour a week when you will be welcomed for who you are, not for what you do.
“How many times do I thump my chest in response to the love and faith that flows during worship? Too many times to count.”
~Kathleen Kline Moore
Hybrid Worship Services
Our service is a hybrid of both in-person and livestream worship at 10:00 a.m.
Our traditional worship service includes scripture readings, prayers, sermon, and musical selections.
Also, be sure to take a look at our calendar. We offer a variety of activities throughout the week, as well as a number of holiday and special services throughout the year — to which you are warmly invited!
What can you expect?
You can expect to have your heart stretched. One of the most beautiful things about the worship experience is that we are reminded, again and again, that we are not alone and that whatever burdens we are carrying are not ours alone. At the same time, we are continuously called to a life of service and generosity.
You can expect to have your mind challenged. We do not shy away from difficult questions or sensitive topics. At Rock Spring, we love to ask questions. By asking and living with questions, we hope to open our minds to new ideas that can change our perceptions and lead us, and this world, to positive change.
“Worship at Rock Spring for me is an opportunity to put aside the eyes and ears I use the rest of my time, and look and listen and engage with a world that has riches and challenges I could never have imagined elsewhere.”
~ Richard Metzger
You can expect some variety. While we usually follow the same order of service each week, what happens within that order will vary depending on the theme of the day, the seasons, or what is happening in our world.

“Worship at Rock Spring has so many facets: uplifting music: hymns sung together or a piece performed, inspiration from an insightful sermon, opportunities for reflection in a moment of quiet or prayer, and the sense of togetherness with people of faith.”
~Michael Bell
