Back in 2010 I was living in the Rock Spring neighborhood, and strolling past the campus was my favorite part of each day’s dog walk. I like to think it was serendipity that drew me to their ad for a bookkeeper. I had just started my own business, happily consulting for small businesses and non-profits, and was excited to find such a great new client so close to home.
These days, my family and I live in Falls Church and I’m no longer Rock Spring’s bookkeeper, but the church and campus are as much a part of my life as ever.
My contract role has evolved into Facility Manager, and I’m now using my 20+ years of business operations experience from the “corporate world” in a variety of ways at Rock Spring. I work closely with the Property Board and a wide range of vendors to keep everything property- and facility-related running smoothly and efficiently.
When I am not at Rock Spring, I am busy working on other business ventures, squeezing in Yoga classes here and there, and spending as much quality time as possible with my husband, John; stepson, Matt; and daughter, McKennah.
