June-July 2020 All Feet on the Ground

While gathering together physically to learn and serve with All Hands On Deck is not an option right now, there are still opportunities for us to be involved in our community and support our neighbors in need. Arlington Thrive and Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) are facing challenges in their efforts to meet the essential needs of housing and food for a growing number of families. Join us online for worship on June 21 to learn more about what these organizations are doing and what we can do to help.

Then, help Arlington Thrive and AFAC spread the word. From June 21 to 28, pick your favorite way to get moving and take a picture of yourself walking, running, or riding in support of the vital work that is being done through these organizations. Share your efforts using the hashtag #RSNeighbors to let everyone know what they can do to help. You’re also invited to contribute donations of time or finances to support these efforts. Contributions can be sent to Rock Spring via check with AFAC/Thrive in the memo line, online giving (designate AFAC/Thrive under “other”) any time before July 5.
