Save the Date: Next Courageous Conversations Session

October 20, 2021

Hello Courageous Conversations Participants, Good news! It is time to mark your calendars to Save the Date for our next convening:

WHEN:  Monday, November 8 from 7:00-8:30 p.m via Zoom.

WHAT:  Courageous Conversations Quarterly

WHY:  To continue our growth as a group by connecting quarterly with each other and with local racial equity leaders on key issues of concern. Our session will focus on our new racial equity topic, Environmental Justice.

WHO:  All Courageous Conversation alumni plus friends and new participants are welcome.

HOW:  Please register here. The ZOOM link and meeting details will be emailed closer to the date.

Also to note, the Racial Equity Action Groups kicked off in September & October. The objective of the REAGs is to deepen our education, build relationships, and take action in four dedicated areas:

1. Education

2. Criminal Justice

3. Housing

4. Environmental Justice

There is still time to join one (or more!) REAGs to get involved in the important racial equity issues facing our community. You can also express interest to be informed of future activities of any group by writing to the REAG email addresses provided above. All are welcome. There is important work to be done. In our shared faith together, we can change hearts and minds for racial equity in our community.

Yours in Faith,
