Church Council has adopted a new masking policy for core Sunday morning activities (worship, Sunday school, and coffee hour). Beginning on Sunday, April 9, the masking requirement for worship and Sunday school will alternate, with masks optional on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month and masks required for all on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. For months with a 5th Sunday, we will alternate, with April 30 being masks required. Coffee hour will continue to be outdoors.

On “mask optional” Sundays, we encourage all Rock Springers to make their own decisions about what is comfortable or needed for them. We welcome and anticipate that both masked and unmasked participants will choose to sit together throughout the Sanctuary. For those with heightened concerns, the left transept will be dedicated as a fully masked area every Sunday.

Also beginning April 9, choir members and other musicians, like other worship leaders, will have the option to sing or play unmasked at all services. When not singing or speaking, the choir and all other worship leaders will follow the masking policy of that Sunday.

All other events and activities continue to be mask optional, with small groups encouraged to reach consensus within their group about masking policies.
