Rock Spring is collecting used sneakers for the Nike reuse-a-shoe program. Instead of your old sneakers going to a landfill or being incinerated, they will be recycled to make playground surfaces. Look for the collection boxes in the Narthex and Saegmuller Room through Sunday, April 30. (Athletic shoes only, please – other types of footwear cannot be recycled through this program.)
