The Justice and Peace Mission Fund’s purpose is to “enhance Rock Spring’s Wider Mission by responding to new or urgent social needs, at the initiative or discretion of the Social Action and Mission Board in support of Rock Spring’s communities whether local, regional, national or global.” This fall, four grants have been awarded as follows:

• Churches for Middle East Peace $4,500
• OAR of Arlington/Alexandria $4,500
• Leadership Arlington (for their MLK Day of Service) $1000
• Just Neighbors $3500

We are grateful for a recent $10,000 donation to the Fund made by Michael Bell in memory of Valerie Bell. This contribution was promised soon after Valerie passed away (before Michael became a trustee of the Endowment). Contributions may be made to the Fund at any time with designation.
