Join Rock Spring collage artist Molly McCracken to look at, think about, discuss, and make some collage art. Analog collage practice can be very meditative and help us to slow down enough to reflect on what we are doing. We will look at several artists’ collage work, talk a bit about the process involved, and make some collaged art cards that can be framed or sent to loved ones. Before the workshop, you will need to gather: paper (such as magazines, discarded books, newspaper, junk mail), glue (glue stick, Elmer’s school glue, matte medium, or mod podge), and scissors. You may want to have mark making items (such as pens, markers, colored pencils, etc). And you will need something onto which to glue your designs, such as blank cards, card stock, or any other paper you have at home. Need help with supplies? Email Ashley and we will make arrangements!
