Finding the Sacred in the Midst of Social Upheaval

February 25, 2021 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Join Zoom: http://bit.ly/ThurmanNight

Howard Thurman was an author, Civil Rights leader, and theologian. How did he experience the Sacred in the midst of social upheaval? How did he listen for the voice of the One who travels alongside us, and maintain his endurance in faithful work? Spend an evening with Laura and her friend, Rev. John Monroe, in reflecting on excerpts from Thurman’s writings. No advance reading or preparation required, and the session will include silent and shared reflection time.
