Join us for our next two modules: 

January 5 - February 2: The More You Know: A Media Series on Anti-Racism 

January 5 & 12: Over two weeks, we will view “I Am Not Your Negro,” the 2016 documentary based on James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript,”Remember This House.” Narrated by actor Samuel Jackson, the film explores the history of racism in the U.S. through Baldwin’s reminiscences of civil rights leaders Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as his personal observations of American history. 

January 19: Continued focus on the life and teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr., through the lens of his relationships with mainline Protestant churches. 

January 26: Join us for a historical and current look at race and sports. 

February 2: Our series concludes with an overview of current leading anti-racist voices, including Ibram X. Kendi, Beverly Tatum, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and Robin DiAngelo. 

February 9: The More You Know, continued.

February 16, 23, March 1: Another Story Heard (the power of storytelling and of others’ stories to educate and influence) - Gail Burnaford

March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5 : Telling Your Story - Carolyn Rapp
