Girl Scout Community-Based Camp Discovery is an outreach camp designed to provide an introductory Girl Scout experience to underserved girls who have never been Girl Scouts before. We provide transportation, financial assistance for registration fees and Girl Scout-quality childcare during Spring Break to attract girls of all different backgrounds to envision themselves as Girl Scouts. Girls will sing songs, play games, try new arts and crafts and STEM activities all created and led by teen Girl Scouts with the hope that these campers will continue their Girl Scout experience in local troops after camp is over.
