Global Mission

This is not your grandparents’ mission effort! Acknowledging that our world will be stronger when we can learn, share and grow together, Rock Spring made a commitment to being a global mission church. To become part of the global partnership network and receive updates about our work, please send an email request to Laura Martin at

Rock Spring has a strong and growing relationship with the Shirlington Employment and Education Center, known as SEEC, in South Arlington.

The Arlington Food Assistance Center has been connected with Rock Spring from its earliest days and remains a strong partner in feeding the hungry within the county.

Started by a member of the Rock Spring congregation, the Arlington Street People's Assistance Network or "A-SPAN" continues to provide life-sustaining services for Arlington’s street homeless population.

A relative newcomer to our wider mission, Offender Aid and Restoration is a community-based restorative justice organization, that blends compassion and accountability to assist offenders in leading productive and responsible lives for the benefit of all.

Aside from regular financial support, members and groups in the congregation volunteer at the Patrick Henry Family Shelter in Fairfax County, working with the families in a variety of ways from tutoring to crafts.
