It is with great anticipation and excitement that Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ announces its search for a full time Senior Pastor.
Rock Spring is a vibrant and active faith community united in seeking the still speaking God. We are an “open and affirming” congregation, inviting everyone to join us in exploring Christian faith through worship, the sacraments, education and service. Our community encompasses a wide variety of age groups and backgrounds. All are welcome.
Rock Spring is located within 15 minutes of Washington, DC and this proximity enables us to share all of the excitement generated in this cosmopolitan city, including the lure of the political arena, the Smithsonian Institution and its museums, the wide ranging opportunities for the performing arts, and a variety of sports and entertainment options.
Rock Spring is seeking a vibrant and energetic Senior Pastor to lead our unique three pastor team and provide spiritual, pastoral and social action guidance to our congregation. We seek a Pastor who is a dynamic preacher that can be firm but compassionate, confident but humble, a teacher and a friend and most importantly a part of the Rock Spring Congregation.
