Faith + Life: March
1st Sundays : Bible Basics: the New, New Testament. Janice Langholz and the Bible Basics class will look at Thunder, a one of a kind, document found in Egypt, written in Coptic, and featuring a feminine voice. “…I am he the mother and the daughter.” No, that is not a typo. What if we had that as scripture, instead of “In the beginning was the Word”? What might that have looked like? (Postponed from February)
2nd Sundays: Where Is God In... The Gun Violence Debate Next Sunday, March 11, join guest-leader Betsey Wildhack for a conversation about the intersection between faith and this pressing issue.
3rd Sundays Bible 101. Linda Carder goes “behind the scenes” studying the history, culture and faith of the Hebrew people. For March 18, advance reading of the book of Joshua is recommended.
4th Sundays: Spiritual Practices in Daily Life. On March 25, we will explore music as a spiritual practice. How does music help you feel connected to the Spirit?
Sundays at 10:00–10:50 a.m., Hunter Room 205
