FAQ's

What this is and what this is not: This is a car-camping weekend. It is not deep-woods backpacking and it is not the Family Life Retreat in cabins. All sleeping and eating supplies must be brought to the camp. The campsite provides a table, fire ring, lamp post and parking.

How is food arranged? Each campsite is responsible for bringing, preparing and cleaning up their food. Simple foods are best (cereal is easier than Belgian waffles!). Each campsite should bring food for breakfast both Saturday and Sunday, food for lunch on Saturday, and food to accompany hot dogs for dinner Saturday night. (CE is bringing the hot dogs).

The swimming area is about 2 ½ miles from the tents, so most people drive.
