Racial (In)justice: The House We Live In

Date:
November 12, 2017 - 12:15pm to 2:00pm
Location:
Hunter Bldg., Hunter Room 207

This workshop continues Rock Spring’s conversations about racial justice with a focus on federal government activities that supported segregation and white privilege in housing and other areas. They set a pattern of denial of opportunity to people of color the e ects of which continue to this day. In part we will look at how FHA housing practices played out here in Arlington. Our presenter will be Marty Swaim, the facilitator and co- founder of Challenging Racism, Arlington.
