Book Discussion: Strangers in Their Own Land

September 28, 2017 - 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Hunter Bldg., Hunter Room 205

What does it mean to cross the “empathy wall” in a divided America?  How may we hear the voices of those in the Tea Party and beyond who feel that America has left them behind, and that government doesn’t have the answer for them? Join Laura for either session to discuss Strangers In Their Own Land. Books are available for purchase in the Saegmuller Room for a suggested donation of $20; all are welcome to a book regardless of ability to pay. The book is also available through bookstores and e-readers.
