Green Bibles Available for Purchase

You’ve heard the buzz (we hope):  Christian Education, in partnership with the Eco-Justice Committee, will be offering a “green lens” for all ages during Lent.  Using various models, all Christian Education at Rock Spring will be centered on five themes, exploring God’s creation, humanity’s connection to creation, and our response to the call to care for all of creation.  This curriculum is centered around the use of the recently published “Green Bible.”  The Green Bible is an NRSV Bible with essays and bible studies on the theme of creation care and eco-justice that is printed on eco-friendly materials.  The best part is that all Bible passages relating to the earth or creation are printed in green ink!  The Green Bible is available for purchase for $20.  See Janet Parker to obtain one.  Copies that are not purchased will be available for borrowing from the Library.
