From the New Council President
I was honored to be elected last Sunday by the Church Council to serve as its President for 2010. My predecessor, Gail Howell, leaves large shoes to fill!
The Annual Meeting was an honest and spirited discussion of the joys, blessings and challenges we face at Rock Spring in 2010. As Council President, I hope to provide many opportunities for us to come together, to talk, to discern where God is calling us as a church. I hope we can clearly articulate our mission and vision for Rock Spring, and then make decisions that will allow us to achieve that vision. I hope that each of you will participate and that, as you do, you will bring a spirit of good will to the table.
I look forward to sharing the journey with you this year.
