Would You Like To Invite An International College Student to Your Home for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Then, United College Ministries International Student Holiday Dinner Program is what you are looking for!  We invite individuals and families from area congregations to host international students in their homes for Thanksgiving November 26, 2009.  UCMNV has arranged for 466 students to been hosted in 231 homes for an American Family Holiday.  If you have questions or would like more information contact UCMNV Office Administrator Claudia Newhart Deadline is November 19.  Thank you for helping us help the college communities of George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College.

  • How do I Sign Up for the Program?

Simply contact the Coordinator of the International Student Program, The Rev. Daeshik Shim or Office Administrator Claudia Newhart

  • What Information Will I Need to Provide?

Your Name, Address, Phone Number, and E-Mail Address and how many international students you wish to host.

  • When is the Last Day to Sign Up?

  • How Does the Program Work?

Once you sign up for the program, we will assign you an international college student who is attending a college/university closest to your home.  We provide you with the student’s contact information.  We will also give you step-by-step written instructions clearly explaining every single step you will need to take to make sure that your Thanksgiving celebration with your special guest will proceed smoothly and provide the most joy and happiness to everyone involved!
