Support for Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center
Rock Spring’s pastors encourage you to visit Dar al-Hijrah’s website (www.hijrah.org) to see the statement that they have put up repudiating the shootings at Fort Hood and the ideology and writings of the Yemeni-American cleric who was formerly employed at Dar al-Hijrah. Dar al-Hijrah is a moderate, peaceful mosque that is actively engaged in interfaith dialogue and interfaith action through VOICE and other organizations. The pastors have written a letter of support to the mosque and to Imam Johari. If you wish to sign your name to this letter, it is available in the Saegmuller room.
