Conversation With Ricardo Esquivia

You are invited to a conversation with Colombia peace leader Ricardo Esquivia on Thursday, November 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the home of Barbara Gerlach. The nearest metro is Takoma on the Red line.

Rock Spring has been supporting Ricardo for several years after Chuck Wildman got to know him on his trip to Colombia. Ricardo will given an update on the current situation in Colombia and speak about the development, peace and reconciliation work of churches on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, especially the development of a Citizen’s Commission of Reconciliation. He will also discuss the growing violence against churches and church leaders, especially in Cordoba as the paramilitary groups are re-emerging. Six Protestant pastors have been killed in recent months. An email RSVP would help but is not necessary.
