We have been given Council approval for the Local Church Profile! This means that we will be proceeding forward with our job announcement on www.ucc.org.
The final Church Profile has been developed with input from the Council and the congregation in order to put forward an honest and complete picture of our Congregation. Since the draft version was submitted to the Congregation, in addition to changes suggested by the congregation we have incorporated a pictorial introduction, an opening letter, the Pastoral Team job descriptions and a map of our Church grounds. We will make the final version available to the Congregation soon. However, a complete version of the Profile will not be posted on our website for privacy purposes.
In the next few weeks, we hope to start receiving candidate profiles for consideration. We encourage members of the congregation to submit names of any potential Pastor candidates to us at SearchCommittee@rockspringucc.org.
