Join Rock Springers on the Arlington CROP Walk to End Hunger
On October 17, from 9 a.m. until noon, Arlingtonians will hold their 28th CROP walk, and you can be a part of it. Rock Spring is putting together a team to raise funds by getting pledges to walk for 3 or 6 miles. Please be a participant! You can walk, donate, or both. CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide to have food for today, while building for a better tomorrow. Each year some two million CROP Walkers, volunteers, and sponsors put their hearts and soles in motion, raising over $16 million per year to help end hunger and poverty around the world — and in their own communities. Of the funds we raise, 25% will go to the Arlington Food Assistance Cooperative (AFAC). You can even donate to the Rock Spring Team or join by creating your own web page by going to: http://churchworldservice.org/goto/Rock.Spring. More information will be available in the Church Office, on the poster boards, and in the Saegmuller Room after services. Here is your chance to be part of the solution and have a nice fall walk with friends.
