Volunteers needed to serve dinner at Thrive DC (formerly the Homeless Women’s Dinner Program)
Rock Spring provides volunteers on the 2nd Sunday of each month to help with preparing and serving dinner and cleaning up afterward. We need volunteers for September 13 and October 11. This is a great way of giving practical help to people who really need it. Even (mature) children can make a useful contribution. The program is offered at the Trinity Lutheran Church in D.C. Volunteers are requested to serve from 4:30-7:00pm. If you would like to help, please sign up on the Social Action Bulletin Board outside of the Saegmuller Room, send an email to socialaction@rockspringucc.org, or contact Becci Hufford or Masami Kojima.
